I had an amazing experience with Paul and John from Texas Motor Blinds! They installed zebra shades for me, and I absolutely love them. I got quotes from three different blind companies, but I felt the safest and most secure going with them. Both Paul and John were extremely professional throughout the entire process. I moved into my new home in August 2024 and immediately began searching for window coverings. I love natural light, so I looked into motorized blinds for the convenience of easily opening and closing my shades. My research was overwhelming because there are so many companies to choose from. Being very selective, I realized this process would take some time, so I purchased paper blinds for privacy until I made a decision.
Having worked in procurement for several years, I knew I had to find the best price possible. I selected four different companies to get quotes from, knowing that with over 20 windows in my home, the costs wouldn't be cheap. When I received the first quote, I was in shock; I had no idea how expensive motorized blinds could be. Honestly, the price was enough to buy a new car! Nevertheless, I continued my search because, if you know me, I always strive to get what I want.
It was suggested that I first cover the windows on the first floor and postpone the second floor blinds. Another suggestion was to have motorized blinds on the first floor and manual ones on the second floor to keep costs down. After gathering more quotes, I eventually had an in-home consultation with Texas Motor Blinds (Paul and John). They performed all the necessary measurements and advised me that I would receive an emailed quote the next day.
When I received the quote, I was ecstatic. I didn’t need to decide which shades would be motorized; all the window shades would be motorized! It was a no-brainer to move forward with Texas Motor Blinds. Paul kept me updated about my order, aware of how excited I was to finally get my window coverings. I had been living with paper blinds for two months.
The installation went smoothly, and the customer service was outstanding. The installers were professional and friendly. They explained how the remotes worked and helped me set up the phone app to control my shades from anywhere— and I mean anywhere! I want to emphasize again how exceptional the customer service was; Paul and John went above and beyond to assist me with the app. When it was time to download it on my phone, I entered my password, but the app wouldn’t download. I tried several times without success. Paul and John suggested I call my internet provider, believing something was blocking the download.
If you know me, you know I never give up, so I kept trying to download the app. Eventually, I discovered that I had been using the wrong password! Once I corrected that, I was able to download the app without any issue. I texted Paul to let him know I succeeded in downloading it. Paul and John then came back to my home to program each motorized shade.
I will definitely be raving about Texas Motor Blinds and their exceptional customer service to all my family and friends. I’ll be calling them again for outside shades for my patio!
